Everyone has a purpose.
From the mailman you see once a month to the trash man you may never see. Now, I'm not saying that everyone was made specifically for the careers they pursue; everyone has specific traits God instilled in them to use for his glory.
Since I was younger, I have always loved the art that is writing. It provides me with a feeling of empowerment and security. My words give me wings. So when I would come across people who hated writing, I was astonished. Then I met people who genuinely enjoyed history, cooking, mathematics, and other diverse subjects. I even met a boy who loved labeling everything and he now creates names for MAC lipsticks. Lol. It is beautiful witnessing someone who pursues what they truly enjoy, even if it seems like the weirdest thing ever.
Finding your purpose may come easy or it may come as the biggest challenge of your life. Sometimes your purpose isn't necessarily what you're naturally good at, I believe you'll know what your purpose is when you do something that makes your heart content and gives you a sense of fulfillment.
One of my biggest fears is complacency. I've seen, too often, adults who work, eat, sleep, and repeat-- for years. The spark is gone and all hope is lost. I hope you never settle for mediocrity, and if you have, I hope you have the courage to start over.
This blog was created for a purpose of inspiring you.
With love,
Michelle Lobato
